Historic Clarksville IN near the Falls of the Ohio
I heard the distinctive call of 1000s of sandhill cranes this night at
around 9:15pm lasting through 9:30 or so. Then silence. Then another round
of sound at 9:45 or so, which prompted us out of the house to search, as I
did not think sandhill cranes migrated at night. I see Mary Bryan posted
that she heard them around 9:45 near U of L, so they must have been flying
over.
