This morning at about 9:40 I heard Sandhill Cranes calling off to the east. Never could spot that group. Maybe the same group Mark heard? Then at about 10:30, 45 Cranes flew almost directly over the house very high overhead. As I was listening to their familiar calls I also heard a repeated sound sort of like someone hollering. It may have been a neighor shouting, but it seemed to be coming from the same direction as the crane flock.
