Nothing too spectacular, but heading south on the right side of I-65, I saw two turkeys foraging very close to the road between Outer Loop and the Snyder. A few minutes ago I had a Pileated Woodpecker calling from the backyard. On 09/08 I went to Garvin Brown on hike with a friend, with no binocs: two Solitary Sandpipers in the drainage area of the parking lot and a single hummingbird were the sole highlights. 09/10 had a yellowthroat calling next to my house in tall savannah grass clumps I hope to get out this weekend; I can count the number of birds I've seen this month on my extremities.
