The lake levels continue to rise. We kayaked over the mud flats on Blood
River this weekend. Today the water is higher and very little shore is
exposed.
The shorebirds, gulls and ducks don't seem to mind and have found bits of
high ground for feeding.
Birds of interest at Crappie Hollow this afternoon were:
Gadwall
Green-winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
Hooded Merganser
Least Sandpiper -30
Dunlin - 10
Bonaparte's Gull
Hap
Murray, KY
