I birded with Tom Durbin, Jeff Rose, and Linda Craiger for the first hour of
the day at Maple Springs Campground. We found 59 species in that hour, at
which point we had to separate ways. Highlights included multiple Swainson's
thrushes, some singing, 4 vireo spp. and 17 warblers, including FOS
Bay-breasted.
My trip for park visitors featured some adorable nature-loving kids and
their parents.it was a fun outing, but we didn't add any birds to the list.

If any birders can get outside this weekend, do it! Migration is in full
