Highlights of The Somerset Birding Club field trip to Russell Co. 9/7/02

Osprey
Stilt Sandpiper
Eastern Kingbird
Philadelphia Vireo
Tennessee Warbler
Northern Parula
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Also many, many butterflies (including Giant swallowtail) and
wildflowers along the Cumberland River.

While looking through the killdeer at Clifty Pond, Pulaski Co. I came
across a Buff-breasted Sandpiper! I nearly missed it; it blended in with
the ground so well.
