A gorgeous Sunday morning has been followed by a hot afternoon. Not much shore bird activity this morn. A good number of least, 3 Lessor Yellowlegs,2 Semipalmated Plover, and one Spotted Sandpiper. Also 2 Osprey, one Bank Swallow, and one Yellow-bellied flycatcher (pretty sure, quite yellow, round head, sharp contrast of wings and body, bold white wing bars, eye ring appeared yellow too, not worn in appearance). Also three fledgling Eastern towhee still begging for food. They had their mature primaries, secondaries, and tail feathers, but juvenile feathers otherwise. scott ksmrlb@xxxxxxxxxxx ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
