I think we need to update Wil Milan's Moiston (tm) theory. Apparently sending e-mail message about observing plans across the internet causes Moistons (tm) to be released into the atmosphere. The last three time I attempted to go out observing, I e-mailed my intentions, and got clouded out. On Thursday, I went out, but didn't e-mail anyone, and Viola, no Moistons (tm). Maybe we need to start communicating in person (I have a feeling that voice messages across the phone line will release Moistons (tm) also). I won't be able to make it tonight, so that might help. By the way, it was clear at Flatiron, but seeing and transparency was poor (I rated it a 5 for both) and there was some problems with the wind. A 20" dob scope makes a nice wind vane.
