Nice shoutout to Tom from the Lowell Observatory staff who hosted the
crowdfunders of the refurbished Pluto telescope today at the Lowell
Observatory in Flagstaff! (Sorry we didnât get to meet before I had to take
off, Tom.) Nice event, and it was great seeing so many people supporting
astronomy in particular, but the passion of science in general.

It was clear enough in Arizona to take images of the moon on 25
pleasenights.
I tried to do this a couple of times back in Florida
as a teenager circa 1970, but of course the cloudy weather
in the "Sunshine State" wouldn't permit it. Congrats
on the perseverance to complete this series.
