15480 Empire Rd. Benson, AZ 85602 hm ph: 520-586-2244 I realize the viewing geometry was not good, but I tried to see the comet a few times, once during mid-day, and a couple times around sunrise. I'm not getting any cooperation from the local weather, which has been mostly cloudy and currently raining. The one morning I poked my head out the door to catch a glimpse of the sun and was greeted by a dozen cows munching on my wife's roses. That's one of the hazards of living on 10 acres next to a 10,000 acre ranch... My little terrier-mix (Candis Minor, aka Candie) had a good time chasing them off, cautiously, of course. Not only is the comet amazing, but there are three or four solar explosions while this stupendous comet is whirling around the Sun. They puff our material in those huge mushroom clouds. So, once THIS storm goes away (I am being rained on as I type), is there any chance will can see this beauty for at least a couple of nights before it heads south?
