Hey All,

Sorry to point out the obvious, but these kids are not "away from the
public" because they care,
they are out there trying to avoid getting busted.  Even just watching an
illegal street race can hit you for up to
$400 and EIGHT points against your license.  (a minor can lose his/her
license until the age of 18 for drag racing, even just
watching....)
If they truly want to race, there are 2 drag strips in the Metro Phx area to
which to do this kind of stuff safely.
Need I again say that some innocent drivers could have got hurt (or worse)
driving home......These kids were wrong to be out there, they were
participating in an illegal act, and don't be too sure that was the only
illegal thing going on.  I was a kid once too, you know.... ;-)
