Dear colleagues,

For those looking for an astronomy project, epsilon Aurigae is fairly
easy and an interesting one. The star system is doing interesting
things outside of its 27.1 year eclipse and the next 2 year eclipse
start next summer. To help with projects and for general knowledge,
Dr. Robert Stencel (University of Denver) and I have created a book
"Epsilon Aurigae, A Mysterious Star System." It's 287 pages soft
cover and is now available. It covers background information,
history, recent observation, the past campaign (1982-1984) and the
current campaign. Information on various techniques (photometry,
spectroscopy, polarimetry and interferometry) is also provide. More
information including ordering information can be found at:

You are also invited to join the 2009 Eclipse Campaign. See:

Clear Skies!
