Captain to the Bridge by Captain Keith Ketchum Keith sat in his office when the light on his desk lit up. Interesting he thought to himself, that is only if there is a mutiny occuring on the bridge. Keith wondered what would cause a bridge officer to activate that. He pulled up the station that activated the alarm, and it was Ensign Michaelson at Helm. Keith walked out of his office and towards the ramp to the bridge, he could hear the conversation as he neared the back of the bridge. He decided it was best to stay out of sight to find out what was going on, because if it were a true mutiny, he would want to get to the lower decks. "I am seriously questioning your intentions, Commander, and whether or not they're in the best interest of the crew and Starfleet interests." "What exactly is your problem with the mission to begin with? Plus I will have you know that you do not scare me. I have gone against the best and come out ahead and with decorations from the Romulan government for it. So I am not worried. I have my orders whether you want to believe them or not." "That's just it, you have NO orders. We didn't receive any word from Starfleet Command and there isn't an entry about a mission update from the Captain - you're just doing whatever the hell you want. I'm relieving you of duty, Commander, I'm taking command of the bridge." “I am not scared of your little phaser Javan. You may not have seen the orders and they may not have been written down yet, but never the less they were given by the Captain." "No, you said it yourself that we're going where you want. You're talking in circles, Commander, and now you're not making sense. She's putting you all in harms way and you follow her blindly. You all must be informed that the Captain hasn't approved the Commander's orders, and Starfleet Command hasn't even dispatched us to go anywhere. We're going wherever she wants and I won't let it happen. I am inclined to take command until the Captain decides what to do." "Who are you going to believe? Someone with enough misconduct reports to wallpaper his office or some one you know, who follows the orders. Who does what the Captain asks of her and doesn't go and do reckless things?" "Who holds petty grudges, one specifically against me because I dropped her ass because I felt her sucking the life from me? She can't let go that I dumped her and that I moved on. She's the mentally unstable one. Get her off the bridge." "I'll go, only so that no one gets hurt but just so you know I have moved on to bigger and Better things. Why I wasted time on You I will never know. At least that part of my live is over. Thank God! Shall we go Gentlemen?" "Fellas, get some popcorn so you can watch her show. Put up the wall because she's never hurt and she's the strong one." Keith waited until Skyler had been taken into the turbolift and he could hear Javan move to the center seat and sit. He had appeared at the back of the bridge with a finger to his lips so that the Ops officer would not denote his presence. "Ensign, full stop. Captain to the bridge." "The Captain is already on the bridge, Commander." His voice seemed to echo off the walls. "Report!" His voice had a little pinch of irritablility in it as he spoke.
