Bill, they did.
When reading a FreeLists digest, just search for a sequence of about 25
hyphens, which separates messages. To bring the message itself into view,
press Page Down if necessary. Then search for the next message. And so on.
Extremely simple, and extremely effective. Who could ask for more?
