Hi Michael,

Your original e-mail sounded very authoritative, but I think some of it was
just plain wrong.

For example, the sentence that I quoted said in part:
> almost any macro built around recorded menu movement and (in
> particular) keystroke menu item activation... is going to fall over

Recording a macro where you use the keyboard to operate the menus produces
identical code to a macro where you use the mouse.

Also, the code bears little relation to the menu structure. For instance, if
you record adding a bookmark, you get something like
"ActiveDocument.Bookmarks.Add", whereas the menu command is Insert>Bookmark.

How, in your experience, do you record a Word macro that depends on
keystroke menu activation?

Regards,
Craig
