Hmmm... time for a new dictionary. peccavi is the 1st person singular perfect indicative active form of the first conjugation verb, "pecco", I sin. It means "I sinned" or "I have sinned" and is thus a very clever kind of self-knowing typo. Nice one! peccatum, -i is the noun.
