Jill, that is a puzzling statement. You say you "converted from Frame to Word simply to use Calibri". Calibri is available as a font in my common-or-garden version of FrameMaker. Fonts are rarely application-specific these days. Am I missing something? I have used it in all my new manuals and I think they look stunning. My previous font was Garamond and it now looks rather dowdy. Although Calibri is officially sans serif it has some serif aspects and has softer letters than other sans serifs such as Arial. Unfortunately there are still companies, and particularly Govt, that use old fonts. However, none as bad as when I worked for a Govt dept and had to buy a font to enable me to do the manual. The font was obscure and not really a good look. I believe companies need to update their templates a lot more often than they do. This time round Microsoft should be happy I am using their product for their training manuals. Sorry I missed the conference and seeing you all but I was in England at a wedding.
