atw: Help!!! Word, master documents & styles

I have an 1100 page document I'm creating in Word 2002. Yuk!
I have many questions about the best way to use master documents and styles. My
document
doesn't seem to retain all the formatting that I specify (eg After I update the
TOC, Word often
gives many table cells in the document a para style of TOC 3. I don't think
it's a memory prob.)
Ideally I'd like to meet with someone face to face in Sydney to discuss, if
anyone has the time
and knowledge.
(My next project is going to be FrameMaker, I hope)
