Definitely contact DEWR and make a claim.=20

They can tell her all the ifs and buts - and they will - they are nice
people (my current contract is working on the software system that they
use to assess the Claims), and she may find that a lot of what she is
owed will be paid by DEWR. She does not have to stand in line.

Call their hotline on 1300 135 040 or go to the web-site at
http://www.workplace.gov.au/Workplace/WPDisplay/0,1251,a0%253D0%2526a1%2
53D517%2526a2%253D623,00.html for details of the GEERS scheme and how to
apply.

The company in which one of our fellow Technical Writers worked has just
been closed. She has received no termination payment, final pay, holiday
pay and recent superannuation and tax weren't paid. She was a full time
permanent employee for the past 14 years.

Does anyone have any useful advice or sources of assistance that she can
use to help get any money from the wash-up of this company?=20

I'm sorry to say that the ASTC(NSW) isn't able to help in this instance.

Thanks in advance.....

(I shall print and hand over any replies to her.)
