Hi everyone.
I've moved on from Preston Aviation and I am now contracting at a company
called SICE Pty Ltd in Glen Waverley. We subcontract to Theiss John Holland
on the Eastlink Project (IT-based) and they also have a need for a Contract
Technical Writer.
In brief, it is a Word shop also using MS tools such as Excel, Visio etc..
This is an IT-based TW position and it is more technical than most where it
would be of great benefit if you could understand the software and document
development lifecycles, and know the difference between Technical Notes,
Design Specs and RFIs. Most important though is the need to see the big
picture and be able to provide solutions for a fragmented environment along
with some good wordsmithing capabilities.
