Except, unfortunately, when you cross reference to a heading as we have been
discussing Word inserts *hidden* bookmarks which do not show when you select
the option to view bookmarks. Hence users' problems.

I don't know that anyone was either a) slagging off Word, or b) calling this
a bug.
