When restarting Audacity are you finding that the latency values you set
have changed or is it that the values are the same but click track results
are not satisfactory? I have not had a problem with settings not being
saved. I have, however, restarted Audacity and found the click track result
to wander. I suspect it may depend on what other applications are running
and perhaps the mood of the machine. It is a long time since I adjusted for
latency and cannot remember how I arrived at a satisfactory setting. It was
probably a matter of repeating the process until achieving a consistent
result. Yes, a tad tedious.

Audacity. When I have the setting right for latency and close audacity, then
reopen it and perform the same test with using a click track, the timing is
