Assuming you are on Windows, this is explained in the following
Frequently Asked Question:

In short, if you are installing 2.0.4 over a previous 2.x version, 
that works fine. 

If your previous version was a 1.3 Beta, it is best to uninstall the 
Beta and then install 2.0.4.
