The most efficient way to record your keyboard is to use an usb audio mixer.
Such as the Alesis multi 4 or multi 8.
Also the Yamaha ag06 or the Yamaha mg10xu.
If you don't have much cash, Barringer has a couple of inexpensive models.
But, I personally don't like them.
You connect your mixer to one of the usb ports on your computer.
In the case of the Alesis it is plug and play, drivers are installs
automatically.
Go to the preference menu on Audacity and under devices, make sure the driver
for the mixer is selected.
This mixer now becomes your sound card interface.
Your internal sound card is no longer needed.
Your screen reader and all audio is routed through the mixer.
You need to connect your audio speakers to the mixer.
Plug your Casio in to one of the stereo channels on the mixer.
These mixers also have an earphones output.

know audacity doesn't support VST instruments, but I'm farely knew at using
audacity for my music productions. I've used it for years for my soundscapes,
