Hi David:

I have not come to the step of 1.3.1 at all. I am stuck at 1.3.0. I
could not install 1.3.0 for some reason. It says the file is corrupted.
Thank you.

Regards,

Ramana

Hi Ramana,

Did you unzip the zip file containing the 1.3.1 version of audacity.exe
before copying it over the 1.3.0 version of audacity.exe?

This is the second time I've seen this report. So I suspect the problem
is
that I renamed the file to make it easier for me to copy the file to the

audacity4blind website.

You will first need to get and install 1.3.0 as described in my previous

post. Then go to

http://members.aol.com/martynshaw

and get the zip file which contains the 1.3.1 version of audacity.exe,
unzip it and copy it over the 1.3.0 version of audacity.exe.

I don't know why this is, because I have had no trouble changing a
filename to make it easier for my DOS internet connection to grab the
file.

If that doesn't work, please tell me the exact steps you used to get and

install 1.3.0 and 1.3.1. Remember that 1.3.0 has many files and folders,

1.3.1 is the single audacity.exe file you need to install over the 1.3.0

audacity.exe file.

David
