I haven't tried this, but I understand that the algorithms used by Sliding Time Scale/Pitch produce better quality results than Change Pitch. Don't know if that will help or not.

Hi,

I'd like to do an audio drama with just Me, myself and I, and I want to make
some of the characters sound like men.  I know there are apps out there that
does the job very well without that yawning quality.  But it would be easier if
I could use just Audacity.  I tried both changing the pitch and speed and was
disappointed.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Sharon H.
