Rick, can you give a link to the site in question. My web search revealed sort
of what I think you are referring to, but not sure.
If my understanding is correct, you want to strip the vocals out of a song and
add your own. Sites such as Spleeter <https://ezstems.com/> and others will
let you do that by sending you back stems of the song you submit. That is,
several files containing the various instruments and vocals. Load them all
into Audacity and mute or delete the vocal track and do your worst.

Anyone using this website?
I listened to one song and it was very good but it did not seem to play the
vocals.
I just want to talk through how to find songs where I can learn the vocals and
then eliminate them replacing them with my own work.
So picking your experience may save me some mess-ups or my missing something
