About the new upload you did, can i just download the file, and will it
install then in my existing audacity or is the protocol another one?
Assuming you are on Mac, drag the folder containing your old Audacity
version to Trash.
Download the nightly build from the *top* of this list:
http://audacity.homerow.net/index.php?dir=mac/&sort=date&order=desc
that is, "audacity-nightly-2012.03.22-03.15" or later (earlier ones
are not accessible builds).
1 Double-click the downloaded .dmg to mount it.
2 Then to install Audacity, copy the "Audacity" folder from the
newly mounted .dmg to /Applications or any other location
of your choosing.
