I an not sure if Vaughan would find that acceptable as they are not
official builds, nor have they been tested AFAIK for users who don't
have screen readers. The accessible builds are linked to on:

and readers of this list will find them.
The better answer would be to decide on patching Widgets then
committing the actual Audacity changes to our codebase:
http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139 .
The changes to Widgets are extensive but we already apply a very small
Widgets patch to Windows builds for accessibility, albeit just turning
a few pre-existing parameters on.
We should be in a better position now 2.0 is out to make these Mac
changes but it needs Leland to push for doing this if he has the time. :=)
