Hi Everyone,
Being new to the list (Meg attacked me at the AODC), I thought I would
introduce myself.
I've a background in Computer Systems Engineering and have been doing
the whole technical writing thing for about 3.5 to 4 years now. I work
for WorkCover Queensland (note brand-conscious capitalisation of
employer's name), doing technical manuals, on-line help, and other bits
and pieces. It's not the most glamourous job but, what can I say ...
they're good to me!
I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of you, networking,
socialising, and generally chewing the proverbial fat about our growing
and oft-misunderstood profession.
