It really doesn't seem like a whole year has passed since the opening of Lush
Prize 2014 but here we are again promoting the launch of Lush Prize 2015!
This will be the fourth year of the Lush Prize and by the end of the year we
will have distributed a million pounds to fantastic science and campaign
initiatives to end product safety testing on animals.
Today is World Day for Animals in Laboratories and opening nominations seems a
great positive way of marking this date. Lush Cosmetics have again provided an
amazing £250,000 (that's €300,000 or US$373,000) to support scientists and
campaigners end animal testing.
As usual, we have six categories of Prize:
* Science
* Young Researchers
* Training
* Public Awareness
* Lobbying
* Black Box - the only Prize category where someone could win the whole
£250,000!

The Lush Prize works specifically to fund initiatives to end animal testing in
the area of toxicology and we are a completely 1R

- we only support complete replacement of animal tests.
We are a global prize fund and have supported projects all over the world -
last year's winners covered Europe, South America, Asia and Africa!
Nominations close on 24 July 2015 so there is plenty of time to apply.
