That is not unusual and no reason for concern.

Could you quote the exact error message please?
What is the output of
*Show Wimp$ScrapDir
*info <Wimp$ScrapDir>
*info <Wimp$ScrapDir>.ArtWorks
*ex <Wimp$ScrapDir>.ArtWorks
after the error has been reported?
