The way the colour bar is redrawn after a colour drag is completely
standard and it works fine on any platform I have tested it on. It
never occurred to me to test it with Geminus. I have just tried it and
I can confirm that it does not work with Geminus redraw acceleration
switched on for ArtWorks. That is clearly a bug in Geminus and there
is nothing ArtWorks can do about it.

The solution is to either switch redraw acceleration off for ArtWorks
or report the bug to Neil Spellings and hope for Geminus to be fixed.

Instead of forcing the complete desktop to be redrawn using a WimpMode
command in an Obey file, you can also press F12 Return.

Within ArtWorks, you can choose the menu entry "Utilities => Show
colour bar" twice. This closes and reopens the colour bar, which stops
Geminus from believing that it has not changed. As for the colour
patches in the Info Bar of the colour tool, you can press Shift-F11
twice to remove and redisplay the Info Bar.

In any case, it would be best if Geminus was fixed.
