I'm expressing my opinion of how he prioritized resources,
and my personal conversations with him while watching some of their early
tests at FAR.
Cantril had ZERO understanding of what was critically important and what
was not.
He pushed for things like nice paint job on the rocket and bigger... and
did not push for things
like working guidance, orbital class mass ratios etc...
He took the Garvey space tech base and used it to do showmanship things,
not rocket development things.
The Garvey rockets of 5 years prior were more technically advanced than
anything vector actually flew.
(I'm not up on what they might have flown in the last 5 mo I think nothing,
but I've not been watching them,
,prior to that the statement is true)
Cantril also was either unaware or straight up lied when asked about what
things had been tested and accomplished.
(The fact I asked these questions in the presence of a potential investor
may have had an effect on these answers.)
I just generally had the feeling I was talking to a snake oil salesman.
