Yes. I have it set to DPMS, which doesn't actually work - the screen
never blanks, so the monitor never goes into standby.
I too set it to DPMS, trying to get the screen to blank, but like you I
find it doesn't blank the screen.
That also fits the 30s delay, which I set so I could see what happened when
it kicked without waiting too long (in since the 'Try' didn't do anything).
I obviously never bothered to reset it to a more reasonable value since it
didn't do anything anyway.
