Yes. I have it set to DPMS, which doesn't actually work - the screen
never blanks, so the monitor never goes into standby.
My guess would be that's the problem - I suspect the pointer goes black
when the DPMS "kicks in" (or rather doesn't). We recommend using a
graphical screensaver.
Note that I've mentioned DPMS to the programmer, but it seems to have a
habit of falling off the bottom of the "todo" list unfortunately. I'll
mention it again.
