Thanks for suggestions. I don't need multiple inputs. I will probably use
headphones for conferencing to avoid possible echo effects with speakers,
but my wife prefers speakers for conferencing.
Does anyone know anything about the following Genius speakers.
Genius SP-S100
Genius SW-2.1 200
Genius SW-2.1 355
Genius Hi-Fi Wood Surround speakers (blue)
Are Logitech any good for speakers?
Somewhat surprisingly, they aren't bad. Whilst not hifi grade, and
probably a touch overpriced, they have a good selection. All cheap
speakers will be a bit poor, but depending on your needs, they will almost
certainly suffice. Their more expensive units are even rather good
generally, and they used to offer a few reference-level ones too.
Both Steph and I are actually using Logitech right now (the cheap[er]
ones). Mine came from a charity shop, but work just fine, whilst Steph's
were bought about 4 years ago as a Christmas gift.
As with all things, quality is in the eye/ear of the beholder. I'm not
going to suggest that a 20ish pound set of Logitech's will even begin to
approach Richard's Edifiers (which sound excellent, from his description).
On the other hand, they do just fine for the Zoom meetings we've been
having!
