This is a remarkable offer from within the riscos community.
As a matter of interest, how do users of alternative letter sets such as
Cyrillic use them? Do you have to buy an alternative keyboard?
And what happens if you receive a message in such a script? How can the
computer be made to render in the appropriate font?

Subject: [ARMini-support] Fonts
I recall that someone brought up the EFF Fonts a few weeks ago.
This weekend, we've had a complaint from a customer who felt there should
be more fonts on the ARMX6, so it prompted me to go looking to see what
could be done to help.
One of the issues with some of the older font CDs is that they wrap the
fonts up in front-end programs which don't work properly, either due to
changes in !Fonts/!Boot or due to 26/32bit issues. Either way, they can
be problematic.
During the investigation, I discovered that iSV (via APDL -
http://www.apdl.org.uk/ ;) have released their Typographic CD of roughly
2500 fonts for free download. I did a cursory test on my ARMX6 last
night, and the download seemed to work fine - I was able to enable groups
of fonts in various programs and preview them etc.
I thought I'd pass this finding on, because 2,500 high quality typefaces
for free download seems to me to be well worth investigating :)
Kind wishes,
Andrew
