That's the first I've heard of such a facility existing. When I
alt-click, all that happens is that the file is selected. If I want to
rename it I either go through the menu or use ctrl-R provided by
Quickfiler.
Hold down the <ALT> or <ALT Gr> key and click within the file name box, a
red vertical line (cursor?) should appear within the name and allow you to
modify the file name. Press return to confirm the altered name.
That works on my RiscPC, BB-xm and ARMX6. The only time it doesn't work
for me is if I've not clicked with the cursor fully within the name box.
