This is the case with the internal power supply that my ARM6 came in:

However I use it horizontally without the cradle that holds it in the
vertical mode. Rather like this but without the packaging and with
spacers underneath so that the flap can slide down when I need to use
the DVD RW drive.

I have the same and I enquired off Andrew if I could use it horizontally
and put the monitor on top. He thought it would be Ok (17" monitor) but by
the time I had spaced it up to allow opening of the flap, I found I would
not have sufficient clearance for the monitor, so mine sits on the
provided cradle under the desk.
