Did you remember to set "force" and unset "newer" in the filer

The OS installer doesn't use *copy (except for minor post-install
cleanup), so I don't think this is likely to be the problem.
The most obvious explanation would be forgetting to reboot (most common
cause of "why is the OS date wrong), or perhaps the update was run from
the OS card, (mentioned in the accompanying ReadMe) which doesn't work as
the OS card has to be accessed directly to program the ROM.
Either way, all's well that ends well.
