As an expierenced radio man I prefer a line connection above a wireless

the front connectors for USB sticks.
I will open the machine and check the USB hub inside.
Unless later ArmX6's are different, the usb sockets on the ArmX6
motherboard are not hot swapable so if something causes that connection
to momentarily disconnect then usb will fail. You need to bypass the
internal hubs and connect direct to the motherboard socket to eliminate
a problem with the internal hub.

Having had this problem occasionally, and having unplugged keyboard and
mouse and re-connected into a different USB port on the ARMX6 until it
works correctly, my 'work round' is to try to remember not to touch the
mouse until the start-up sequence has finished. I only have trouble if my
hand 'wanders' onto the mouse too soon.
