I don't have an ARM X6, but I've used KVMs with RPis in the past and used to
have problems with low voltage warnings. Unless your KVM has a separate power
supply — mine didn't — low voltage might be an issue?

exited the computer refused to respond to the mouse, even after I switched
the KVM to and fro between it and the PC a few times.
Then I plugged in another mouse directly to a USB port on the front.
Immediately the computer started responding, BUT to the mouse connected
via the KVM and NOT to the one that I had just connected directly.
