Try out a range of desktop resolutions, and if they are all OK, then its
probably nothing to worry about.
OK, reminded me about doing the basics first.
Seems like a failing HDMI port on my 3 way HDMI switch as moving it to
another input stops the green speckled effect.
Just to be sure tried different HDMI cables in the original HDMI port on
the HDMI switch and still get the same issue so hopefully narrowed it
down.
Why I never checked that first I don't know.
