really if you are trying to setup a CMYK printer in a way that includes
calibration
as well as ink limiting and then profiling, you need to have some proficiency
and confidence that you understand what you are trying to do. If you are lost,
then that's not a good place to start.
All I can recommend is starting with easier things such as creating RGB profiles
to a paper that the printer has a preset for. Once you have that under control
you could try moving on to the CMYK profile for a paper that the printer has a
preset for. You could then dabble in per channel calibration with the same
setup (so you have something to compare with), and once you have a handle on
that, you could attempt to apply the same thing to a paper that the printer
doesn't have a preset for.
The Scenarios documentation provides the guidance needed, but it may
take some work to understand the words and the concepts.
[ A full setup of a printer is something of an art, and takes a good
deal of experimentation and practice. ]
