such things are something of a can of worms. You need to be aware of what
you are really trying to do to be able to figure out how to do it and
interpret the results. For instance, are you attempting to validate:
1) That the A2B profile is accurate ?
2) That the B2A profile is accurate ?
3) That you can reproduce source colors specified in a source colorspace
in a way that is reasonable or pleasing ? (This is particularly tricky
if you are reproducing things like digital images intended for
display rather than attempting to proof images intended for print).
These are all different things.
