I don't suppose Argyll or DispCal have any tools to create "weather map"
style screen uniformity representation? Like this:
https://www.fs.fed.us/land/wfas/fm_10.png
Here, temperature (or humidity) is represented by different "colors". I
don't mind coding this myself (should not be that hard) but I'm not sure how
I would go about it?
I guess I could divide the screen in 12 or 16 (however fine or coarse) areas
and measure XYZ in each one. But then what? I guess I could make the center
of the screen "yellow" and then process to ochre, orange, red, green and
blue from there. But what would be my criteria for attributing the
"pseudo-color" to a given area, deltaE from the center?
