Dear Florian,
I made the necessary measurements to calculate whether my old NEC PA271W is
meeting 14861:2015 requirements.
Compared with the Luminance at the center of the screen (66 cd/m2 -- I know,
very low...), the bottom left corner is 57 cd/m2 or 85% of the center
Luminance. So, that's not very good...
Here's a colormap that shows the monitor white with Uniformity correction OFF
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkD78CVR1NBqkt5yeUgfUDMpORwAQA?e=pnBq12
The same with uniformity correction ON
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkD78CVR1NBqkt5zF__k4mv7PjJr-A?e=Sv9k4U
For the type of work I do, it's not the end of the world but I have to be
careful how I interpret the "neutrality" of the monitor profile 😊
Maybe it is time I start to buy lottery tickets towards my next monitor...
Anyone heard of HP Z31x? Maybe an overkill for what I do...
/ Roger

I don’t suppose Argyll or DispCal have any tools to create “weather map”
style screen uniformity representation?
