To follow up on typical trouble shooting procedures,
a good first step when you have gross problems and
you're not sure what direction the fault lies, is
to bypass your print workflow, and color manage
directly using an all ArgyllCMS workflow.

for how to transform a source colorspace raster to a
destination colorspace raster.
So the idea is to take a proof image, transform it
to the output space, and then print it exactly
the same way you printed your profile chart - i.e.
bypassing any application or system color management.
If the resulting output looks as expected, then
there is an issue with the normal printing
workflow, or a mismatch between profile chart printing
and normal printing workflow (i.e. double color
management, or color management being applied to
the profile chart, etc.)
If the resulting output doesn't look as expected,
then either something is wrong with the destination
profile, or there is something amiss in the
source profile or the state of the test image.
If it's the latter, then this hints at issues with
soft proof setup.
