Cannot make it work with colprof though.
Have tried something like this

I get no errors, but notice you use parameters I cannot use or find in
documentation. I’m using version 1.9.2. The -cw, -cg, -dw and -dg I cannot find
in doc.
The extra options are only documented for collink, but AFAIK they are available
for colprof as well. Just specify them. You must not omit them if you want to
get
results like I did (Note, I explicitly did set the source adapted WP to D65 and
the
destination adapted WP to D50 - otherwise paper white were assumed as
destination
adapted WP, for instance).
And w/o forcing D=1 by patching the code, the profile still assumes incomplete
adaptation
(still leading to a gray axis b* of circa -2 in my test).
